Went to Bend, Oregon recently for a vacation while my editor worked on Hook, Line, and Sinker (Book 3 in the Ozarks Lake Mystery series). Vacationing while someone else makes progress on your novel—that’s good multi-tasking!

Many Bend homes are well-stocked for the outdoors, but this one with a canoe, double kayak, paddleboard, and single kayak was prepared for every eventuality

Smith Rock State Park has >1000 rock climbing paths. I used none of them but did hike around the beautiful area
